Maximus Solutions is working with an well established and dynamic company who are looking for an Mechanical Estimator to join the team during their exciting period of growth.

Working as a part of a multi disciplined team, your role will include buying mechanical materials for projects and reviewing the current supply to help the company grow into its next steps.

Requirements:

• Understanding of associated mechanical services
• Commercial acumen to ensure tenders are financially sound
• Liaise with Architects, Engineers, Sub-contractors, Suppliers and the client to establish the project specification, preliminary requirements, risk provision and exclusions
• Undertake the preparation and processing of quotations, bids and tenders
• Assess material, labour and plant requirements in compilation of the tender
• meet client budgetary requirements
• prepare supplier and sub-contractor enquiries

About the candidate:

• Have a proven background in Mechanical Estimating
• Computer literate with experience of estimation software
• Strong communication skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Strong understanding of mechanical & process pipework systems, HVAC, plumbing and other mechanical building services systems
• Ability to manage own workload and meet deadlines

Salary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

• Estimating: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
