Maintaining canals and waterways and boast an in-house fabrication shop specializing in structural steel, bridges, and nuclear decommissioning boxes. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a dynamic Mechanical Engineer to join the team, covering from East Midlands into Lincolnshire & East Anglia, merging into Central Region.

The role:
- Installing mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, bearings.
- Fitting of steel support systems.
- Fault finding on mechanical equipment.
- Works can be varied and at times may be required to undertake other duties such as assisting an Electrician or Civils engineer.
- Working away from home on occasion (likely Monday – Friday).
- Implement all of the company's rules or procedures within the Health and Safety Policy that are appropriate to the activities being undertaken.
- Understand and sign onto all CPP/RAMS on Site and follow Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments.
About you:
- Mechanical apprenticeship or level 3 Mechanical qualification as minimum.
- Confined Space trained (current)
- CSCS Card Holder
- Lifting operations qualified (CPCS) (Desirable)
- First Aid (Desirable)
- Health and Safety trained (IOSH) (Desirable)
