Your daily duties will include:
- Mechanical fitting and build of specialist machinery
- Assembly of components
- Cutting, shaping, drilling, tapping etc.
- Installation of steel framework, composite panels, doors, and parts
- Working to in-house designs, drawings and quality requirements
To be considered for this role you will need the following skills/experience:
- Previous mechanical fitting experience preferably working on/building machinery
- Good verbal and written communication skills
The ideal candidate will:
- Mechanical engineering background or similar
- Hands on experience with workshop fitting and assembly
- Experience of using hand and power tools and workshop machinery
- Ability to understand & interpret engineering drawings
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Good Attention to detail
- Good understanding of general health and safety
Additional Info:
- Hours: 7.30am-4.00pm Monday to Thursday 7.30am-1.00pm Friday
- Rate: 16.00- 21.00 per hour
- Start Date: ASAP following interview process
