Mechanical Fitters

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer on behalf of our client based in South Ayrshire who are a leader in manufacturing across the UK and Ireland. You will report to the General Manager and will be part of a small multi-skilled maintenance team, where you are tasked with planned and reactive maintenance of the site’s production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out reactive and planned maintenance
Minimizing production downtime
Completing tasks on the maintenance on time
Installation of new equipment
Ensure all equipment is maintained and repaired as required
Adhere to health and safety standards
Skills/Experience Required
Degree or HNC/HND qualified.
A strong understanding of Health & Safety processes.
Experienced in heavy industrial manufacturing environments.
Time-served multi skilled maintenance professional.
Knowledge of PLC’s, Servo Drives, Robotics and line Automation is desirable.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to prioritize key tasks and meet challenging deadlines.
Self-motivated individual who has strong customer focus and can work on one’s own initiative.
