Parkside Recruitment are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Mechanical Inspector to join a client in Hayes.

Role:

As a Mechanical Inspector you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and performance of our mechanical components and products. You will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating mechanical systems, equipment, and components to make sure that they meet industry standards and company specifications.

Duties:

• Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical components, including machined parts, assemblies, and sub assemblies.
• Utilise a variety of inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
• Interpret technical drawings, and specifications to verify compliance.
• Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and prepare inspection reports.
• Collaborate with production teams to address any non-conformity's and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

Essential qualifications and experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• GCSE or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical inspection is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Inspector in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of measurement tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail.
• Adhering to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, alongside the ability to create reports.
