About the Opportunity:
Reporting directly to the Framework Delivery Manger this site based position will develop and execute projects and task associated with the Jacobs Field Solutions Portfolio on the Sellafield Site in Cumbria. Experience in managing Supervisors and Operatives is essential along with the Execution of Mechanical tasks in line with client requirements. Experience of working within nuclear establishments & following Nuclear Professionalism Standards & Expectations is required along with In depth knowledge of the legislative, regulatory, quality and environmental requirements relating to nuclear engineering projects.
Here's What You'll Need:
Must be Blue card Competent person (CSCS Appointed Person training) for planning lifting operations is essential.
Accredited IOSH/SMSTS or equivalent.
NVQ Level 3 in moving loads (preferred) or equivalent.
IPAF MEWP for managers ( planning and endorsing MEWP proposals )
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Provide assurance to the Project manager/delivery manager that all lifting and rigging operations on the project are planned, managed, and coordinated in compliance with site procedures and Sellafield Site arrangements;
  • Plan and Develop (MEWP Proposals, Crane Schemes and Lift Plans) for all Lifting Operations in accordance with LOLER;
  • Plan and Develop -Telehandler / HIAB proposals;
  • Update, obtain approval and maintain up to date all processes and procedures relating to lifting and rigging operations;
  • Lead and coordinate all lifting and rigging operations resources to ensure construction program delivery is to the required timescales;
  • Review RAMS as required to ensure safe lifting operations;
  • Participate in developing the growth of the team and wider Jacobs's growth strategies.
