Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - 2 Roles (Weekends & Nights)

Due to continued growth, my Blackburn based client are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our busy manufacturing site.

My client have 2 Roles available, 1 Thursday to Sunday day job and 1 Nights.

The successful applicant will report into the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance across site.

The Role

• Working with a small team of engineers
• Experience working in a similar position
• Responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance work; including breakdowns and planned maintenance to the production line machinery
• The ability to Fault Find on automated machinery.
• Drive and initiate continuous improvement across the factory to enhance quality, efficiency, performance, safety and waste reduction
• Great time management skills
• HNC or similar in a mechanical discipline
• A can-do attitude
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Flexible and work under their own initiative
• Awareness of theirs and other health and safety
