The role is a Monday Friday 8am 5pm but there can be some flexibility when it comes to hours work

Pin Point Recruitment are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work for a manufacturing company based in Ipswich.

As the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the maintenance of automated machinery and insuring that machine down time is kept at a minimum.

Job Role Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Carry out routine / preventative and reactive maintenance on all mechanical aspects of the factory in a safe and efficient manner.
• Carry out basic electrical maintenance issues when needed
• Respond to factory breakdowns as required.
• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance associated with the plant preventative maintenance system
• Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard.
• Ensure all H&S procedures, including permit to work, are adhered to.
• Comply with Health and Safety requirements, as per training, policies, procedures, risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work etc.
• Ensure downtime is left to a minimum

Skills Required Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Previous experience working in Mechanical Maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Basic electrical maintenance experience
• Health and safety conscience
• Ability to overcome difficult problems in a efficient and timely manner
• Excellent work ethic
