Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Location: John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Salary: 43,050 per annum + Overtime

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent
• Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities: As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks related to mechanical and plumbing systems within the John Radcliffe Hospital. Your duties will include:

1. Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical equipment.
2. Responding promptly to breakdowns and carrying out necessary repairs.
3. Identifying and implementing improvements to enhance the efficiency of mechanical systems.
4. Collaborating with other members of the maintenance team to address complex issues.
5. Completing and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
6. Participating in AP/CP training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
7. Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring a safe working environment.
