MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Contract Duration: 9 months with extensions

Location: Dartford

Pay rate: Negotiable(inside IR35)

Shift Pattern: 4 on x 4 off, days/nights rotating

Part of a highly reputable, international manufacturing group; Due to increased production volumes, my client seeks an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support the plant and keep the production equipment running efficiently.

The Role:

• As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for supporting Maintenance Engineers in providing essential front-line maintenance support to complex high-speed, automated production machinery in a highly prestigious global manufacturing company.
• You'll have experience in driving continuous improvement projects,.
• Your responsibilities will also include heavy involvement in both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance, ensuring the seamless functioning of modern, complex equipment.

Required Experience:

• The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will ideally have an NVQ 3 or equivalent.
• You must have experience working in an automated manufacturing or processing plant.
• Any experience within a food or drink manufacturing or packaging environment is highly beneficial.
