Your new company
A large, successful manufacturing site in Lurgan area. The factory is the biggest processor of their product in Northern Irelandsuccessfully supplying to clients worldwide. The site employs over 200 people in a wide range of roles including sales, engineering, manufacturing, finance, HR and general administration. Due to a new product they have an exciting opportunity for a mechanically minded operative to join the team.

Your new role
As a Mechanical Operator you will be directly involved in the hands-on processes that contribute to the creation of industry-leading products and technology. This will involve operating cutting-edge machinery with precision and care and consistently monitoring the quality of products during the manufacturing process, ensuring they meet the high standards our customers expect. You will be required to maintain impeccable hygiene standards in all activities and utilise and maintain equipment and machinery responsibly, reporting any malfunctions or concerns to the Cell Coordinator promptly, including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. You will also carry out regular maintenance and proactive upgrades of the equipment, contributing to our drive for efficiency and sustainability.
Hours of work:
4 shift continental shift pattern.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally we would like to speak to technically minded candidates. Preferably you will be educated to GCSE Level or equivalent, be IT literate, good eye for detail, be able to demonstrate a basic technical and mechanical aptitude and have a strong commitment to safety and quality standards. You will also be able to work continental shifts.
