Mechanical Project Engineer - Building Services

Market-Leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering business is looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer for an office-based role in Essex. Suitable for Mechanical Engineers, Projects Engineers or Design Engineers with mechanical qualifications and experience within Building Services

Responsibilities:

The role will involve all aspects of mechanical engineering of projects, from enquiry or conception stage through to completion, including (but not limited to):

• Developing electrical services designs and production of technical documentation including working drawings, schematics, installation detail drawings, technical submittals, supporting design calculations etc, to a level of detail required for site installation
• Estimating and pricing enquiries and dealing with tender submissions
  Liaising with clients, main contractors and/or design teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Co-ordinating services designs and requirements with the mechanical division and other external contractors

Requirements:

• Educated to a minimum of HNC level in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent related discipline
• Minimum of three years' work experience in a similar role and/or environment

Package:

• Salary £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
• Progression opportunities to Project Manager
• Office-based with the option for hybrid working
• 33 days holiday
