Role Responsibilities
- Lead engineering projects through execution, that can vary in scope from 5 - 200 mil USD, over a typical duration of 12-24 months
- Responsible for top-level design and documentation, including testing procedures, assembly drawing, designs specs, schematics, and operating manuals
- Consult with the client, discussing their requirements and how company products meet these.
- Lead internal & external product design reviews
- Support the project through the build and testing phase
- Provide updates to engineering management on the status and progress of assigned projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject
- Previous experience delivering engineering projects
- In-depth understanding of product design
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to drive initiatives and bring together diverse stakeholders (internal and external)
- Experience in MathCad, AutoCad, Inventor or another similar 3D CAD package
