Our client is looking for an experienced, dynamic and qualified ‘In-process’ Inspector to take control of all aspects of quality control from material supply through thorough checking off in-process inspection, to final delivery along with a disciplined and ‘hands on’ approach to dimensional inspection. This is an exciting opportunity with a lot of opportunities for growth and further training!
Roles and Responsibilities:
* In-Process inspection (During Manufacture)
* Use of Programmable and Manual CMM inspection
* Upkeep, Maintenance and calibration of Metrology gauges and equipment to ISO 9001
* Overseeing goods in/out inspection
* Raising and investigating NCRs with implementation of corrective/preventive measures
* Presentation of KPI statistics for monthly review
* Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation as it relates to the Production and inspection
* Liaising with customers and suppliers
Ideal Candidate Will:
* Ideally you will be an experienced CNC Machinist/programmer with an ‘Inspection’ background.
* You will be able to demonstrate and pass on your skills and experience of quality inspection.
* You will be fully familiar with and have experience of working within an ISO 9001 environment.
* You will be able to work well in a team environment and have the necessary ‘people skills’ to develop and improve the quality culture of the business, having confidence and a discerning judgment on when to raise issues, improvements.
* You will have good communication skills both internally and to outside ‘agencies’ by telephone/email etc
* Reporting to the Managing Director you will be supporting the production team striving for 100% quality.
Working Hours + Benefits:
* 37 hour weeks
* Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 Friday 08:00 – 13:00
* Opportunity for overtime, weekend, and shift work (paid at a premium)
* 28 Days Holiday (Inc Bank Holidays)
