Mechanical Shift Production Technician
Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Mechanical Shift Production Technician to join our well established cleint.
The Role:
- Working alongside a multi-disciplined production team, The Shift Production Technician will safely ensure that all routine planned maintenance schedules are completed in line with the plan and that feedback is provided to determine forthcoming maintenance priorities.
- Be responsible for responding to, coordinating, and resolving breakdown situations, and the responsibility for carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance to mechanical plant.
- Require operational tasks/jobs (none engineering related) to be carried out.
Requirements:
- Recognised Mechanical apprenticeship (BTEC Level 3 or equivalent).
- Mechanical experience of manufacturing industry and use of mechanical equipment, specialist tools and lifting equipment.
- Basic hydraulic, welding and pipefitting.
- Previous experience Mechanical maintenance of handling equipment, pumps and pipework systems.
- Previous experience of PPM and reporting of PPM activities and breakdowns.
- A good understanding and knowledge of Health Safety Legislation.
- Good level of problem solving awareness, with an ability to fault find of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Salary: £36,719.71 including shift allowance.
This is a Full time, Permanent position.
