Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and mechanically proficient individual to join our team as a Mechanical Site Engineer. The successful candidate will work alongside an electrical engineer and will be responsible for the installation and servicing of pumping equipment at various locations throughout the UK. This role may require occasional overnight stays away from home, and flexibility is essential. Most work will be in the South region.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake installation and servicing of pumping equipment according to company standards and client requirements.
• Work closely with an electrical engineer to ensure coordinated and efficient project execution.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including CSTS (confined space) procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or concerns to the project manager.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Mechanical proficiency with hands-on experience in equipment installation and servicing.
• Valid CSCS card and CSTS (confined space) training Preferred.
• SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) trained preferred.
• Physically fit and able to work in various environments and conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule with willingness to work occasional nights away from home.
• Full UK driving license.

Working Hours:

Typically 40-45 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
