SalaryA leading main contractor that operates across Ireland and the UK, primarily in residential, commercial, data centre and industrial sectors, is actively recruiting a freelance Mechanical Supervisor for a GBP50 million industrial project in the Oxfordshire area. The ideal candidate with come from a similar background and have a solid track record of delivering projects to spec on time and within budget, and boast strong leadership qualities.
This client has recently put a huge emphasis on their data centre and industrial division in the London and Home Counties region, you would be joining the company at a fantastic time with them tendering heavily in the area.
This is on a long term freelance basis with work there until the end of 2024.
Mechanical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Site QA in conjunction with the Mechanical Package Manager including set up, management and close out of file.
- Familiarity with and management of Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting Engineer and Client requirements
- Management of all day to day on site operations
- Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
Mechanical Supervisor Requirements:
- An engineering qualification or relevant work experience
- Good Computer skills in word, excel etc.
- Industrial/cleanroom experience desirable
- Flexible to travel
- Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large projects
