£12.50-£15.50 paye per hour
£14.00-£17.00 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour
£16.00-£19.50 umbrella per hour
All the above rates are dependent on skill and experience.
Working Days and Hours: Monday-Friday, 08.00-16.15

Job Purpose
To be responsible for the supervision, management and allocation of a multi-disciplined workforce and resources undertaking work associated with all engineering plant, building fabric and equipment to the estate within the Trust’s Establishments. Provide technical support to estates staff and contractors on issues that are complex and non-routine. Follow departmental and Trusts operating policies and procedures guided by building and H & S regulations when undertaking this role and works closely with the Estates Officer but also independently without regular supervision.
Duties
- To be able to enter data associated with stores maintenance and to process job requests via the Estates electronic request system. To analyse these using technical knowledge to update records including creating own spreadsheets to his / her area of work and to enter data.
- To undertake surveys or audits as necessary to your own work
- To accurately use highly developed physical skills in the use of fine tools, materials and equipment.
- Taking account of H & S and current legislation undertake fault diagnosis, interprets technical information, formulates technical solutions to improve equipment performance and to analyse suitability of equipment together with interpret operational manuals
- To plan, prioritise and adjust a number of complex activities or programmes, liaising with user, contractors and specialist agencies together with adjustment of staffing levels
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Apprenticeship time served-
- City and Guilds & NVQ
- BETC / HNC /HND
- Specialized Courses Inc HTM
- Recent and significant post qualification experience, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Experience of supervising a team
- Regulatory Compliance
- Appointed person in an HTM discipline.
- Mechanical installation and maintenance skills, including familiarity with the current water & ventilation Regulations.
- Experienced on working on large heating and hot water systems and complex plant equipment.
- Experience of working on large ventilation installations and associated controls including chillers and air conditioning.
- Capable of fault finding and rectification.
- Ability to work on own initiative
- IT literate, including various types of software.
