As the Mechanical Supervisor you will ensure that the work force both employed and sub-contracted, are managed to maximise productivity, through the co-ordination of labour and project/site activities and ensure all materials and plant are managed and available at the time they are required.

Description
- Provide the appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that "Safety comes first" is alive, visible and engaged throughout all activities.
- Develop installation drawings and implement best practice techniques to ensure effective delivery of the project.
- Working with the Project Manager to identify labour and material requirements to ensure cost effective use of same. Regularly reviewing requirements and making the appropriate recommendations to amend the programme to maximise productivity whilst minimising costs.
- Ensuring design, installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements
- Provide leadership for the delivery team in line with the company procedures and values, working to maximise and develop the potential of the team and individuals within.
- Ensure that all operational activities are carried out in compliance with the company procedures and external legislation governing the business operations.
- Provide input in the preparation of the project cost plan, budgets and enhanced margin based on the contract parameters and objectives to enable the maximisation of profits.
- Monitor and ensure that the work of the appointed sub-contractors is being carried out to business procedures, project specifications, legislation and programme.
- Manage the successful completion of the project in line with agreed quality and commercial plans within agreed timescales and cost constraints.
- Maintaining positive relationships with the project client through relationships and effective delivery with a view to optimising future opportunities and profitability.
