Rotating 3 Shift Monday to Friday - 5.45am to 2.15pm, 1.45pm to 10.15pm & 9.45pm to 6.15am
Mechanical Technician role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of materials handling equipment.
This is an ideal opportunity for vehicle technicians looking to move into the forklift industry as the company offer amazing training.
The Mechanical Technician role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade applicants will also be very suitable. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.
The company are a manufacturer of forklift trucks. Part of a team, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment based at one customer’s site in Liverpool.
The Mechanical Technician Role in Brief:
* Carry out PDI’s, service and repair work on workshop and service basis on a range of forklift trucks.
* Work on a Monday to Friday basis in a busy workshop environment.
* Order spares when necessary.
* Overtime.
The Person Required:
* Experience on plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cars or similar equipment.
* Excellent communication skills
* IT literate
* Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
* Happy to work 3 shifts rotating pattern
