About the Role

We are searching for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team! As our newest recruit, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality products that make a significant impact on our clients. You will be working within the Media Monitoring Unit and will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals to learn new skills and expand on existing ones. The role will allow you to immerse yourself in the world of Media Monitoring, keeping a watchful eye across various platforms (e.g. print, broadcast, social and online media and political sources) to help capture valuable insights and contribute to shaping the narratives around public opinion and critical conversations!

A typical day

  • Peruse news stories, websites, social media platforms, message boards, blogs, television programs, radio broadcasts and any other sources for mentions of the firms we support and pass them along to the appropriate public relations representatives, so they can address them.
  • Watch ongoing conversations and use this information to write up reports and/or summarise trends, patterns and opportunities.
  • Write short concise summaries of coverage and produce accurate readouts following debates/events.
  • Use analytics to interpret media trends and mentions.
  • Create reports and presentations that summarise your findings and collaborate with relevant teams (e.g. PR and marketing) to create/inform strategies and tactics.
  • Communicate with members of the team via email, phone, and online chat.
  • Volunteer for tasks, as needed, and contribute ideas at meetings.
  • Examine ways of working and make suggestions for improvement that support our efficiency and goals.

You must have

  • GCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent
