We’re hiring for a Media Payables Administrator to join our Finance team in Manchester.
Purpose of the Role
As Media Payables Administrator you’ll be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable for selected accounts including; AP invoice processing & PO matching, vendor reconciliations and query management / resolution). You’ll follow the full process through up to the payments stage where you will then instruct our offshore payments teams on approved invoices to be paid via scheduled payment runs.
You’ll facilitate and maintain vendor relationships and act as first point of contact to resolve their queries, making sure that all processes and controls are kept and fulfilled, engaging with internal stakeholders to understand the requirements, set expectations and address concerns.
Key Responsibilities
  • Complete invoice logging, processing and matching to media bookings (POs).
  • Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Manage effective issue resolution on escalations: ensure that issue log is up to date as raised / identified issues are captured.
  • Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintains process documentations and ensuring audit compliance.
  • Execute changes to Master Data and its impact across multiple systems and processes following clear definitions.
Qualifications + Skills
  • Experience in accounts payable operations with solid knowledge of accounts payable principles
  • Detail-oriented, with experience working with Excel and finance systems
  • Able to communicate in a professional, confident manner and establish relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to adhere to timelines and expectations
What we offer
This is a permanent role. The team is based in our Manchester office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office once a week on Tuesdays.
