Are you a Van Driver looking to join a pioneering healthcare logistics company? Here at Movianto we're seeing a Van Driver for our
site in Newcastle.
Working Monday to Friday, 07:00- 16:15.
Main Purpose of Job
To carry out duties within MoviantoUK transport operations to a standard that satisfies MoviantoUK quality expectations. To follow
the procedures documented or briefed to ensure operations are completed. To adhere to statutory and company requirements for the
Health & Safety of yourself and others.
Key Responsibilities / Outputs
1. Operate Company vehicles providing appropriate licenses and authorisations are current.
2. Offloading and reloading of vehicles at customer’s premises and at the depot.
3. Assist with warehouse personnel to ensure delivery runs are complete before loading.
4. Show flexibility as you may be required to undertake deliveries in other areas within our distribution area.
5. Carry out daily maintenance checks and ensure the cleanliness of your vehicle to present a professional image.
6. Abide by statutory and legal requirements with relation to drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
7. Present tachographs for analysis as requested by Depot Management or statutory inspectors.
8. Deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
9. Wear at all times such safety and company uniforms as provided.
10. Be prepared to vary start times and shift patterns as required by the needs of the business.
11. Carry out all reasonable requests by Depot Management.
Qualifications / Experience /Knowledge / skills required for the job
* Previous multi-drop delivery operations practical experience.
* Articulate, Numerate and able to communicate effectively.
* If passed driving test after 01/01/97 must have held a C1 license for a minimum of 2 years (drivers who passed their tests
prior to this date automatically have a C1 entitlement on their license).
* Flexible in approach to work hours.
* Good state of health and the physical ability to complete operational tasks.
* Smart and personally well presented.
* Must have held a UK license for a minimum of 2 years.
