Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a Biomedical Equipment Engineer to handle on-site maintenance, repairs, and asset management of medical devices at a specified hospital. The role involves building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues to ensure outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Medical Equipment as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Assist in meeting contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage administrative tasks related to maintenance and repairs.
- Travel to various sites for maintenance as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols within the hospital.
- Maintain service documentation and manage spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with OEM service personnel when required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Essential: Certified OEM training, degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Biomedical Technology.
- Skills: Strong customer relationship management, excellent communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, high integrity.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the UK on Medical Equipment maintenance in the UK, knowledge of regulatory standards.
