Medical Secretary

Rush Hill & Weston surgery are looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to join our team, to provide  secretarial support to our GP’s and health professionals.

The role involves the processing of patient referrals, and assisting patients with related queries, by telephone, email or in person.  Please see the job description attached.

The suitable candidate should have the following attributes:

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Attention to detail

·        Friendly & professional manner

·         Ability to prioritise workload effectively

·         Understanding of patient confidentiality

·         Previous experience in a GP Practice setting an advantage

·         Knowledge of Systmone clinical system an advantage

Hours – 25 hrs per week over 4 days
