SalaryMy client, a market leader in the Insurance field, are looking to recruit a Medical Underwriter to join the business on a rolling contract basis.
The successful candidate will have experience as an underwriter either within Medical, Critical Illness or Income Protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven working knowledge on Medical, Income Protection. Critical Illness or disability products
- Provide fair underwriting decisions using appropriate amount of evidence
- Assess all applications that aren’t accepted by our online engine
- Be the first point of contact for advisors and pre-sales enquiries
- Will have proven experience in a Medical Underwriting position
- Knowledge of Critical Illness, Income Protection or Disability
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Packages
- 3 months rolling contract
- £325 per day (umbrella)
- Fully remote (UK)
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
