Meet & Greet Receptionist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly motivated Customer Services Team, delivering exceptional services on behalf of Bolsover District Council.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive advocate who can work independently and as part of the wider team.

Based at The Arc, the successful candidate will provide an efficient and effective Meet and Greet service to all customers and visitors, maintain the reception area, direct customer enquiries and deliver excellent customer services providing a positive impression of the Council.

To be successful you will need:

• Excellent and effective verbal and written communications skills in order to deal with the face to face enquiries
• The ability to deal competently and diplomatically with members of the public and colleagues
• Demonstrable, practical experience in a working environment handling enquires from the public in a reception environment
• Ability to identify and access customers’ needs
• To be an effective and committed team member
