Enrych is a national charity that has been supporting adults living with disabilities for over 35 years, providing individuals with a range of services to enable them to live independently and enjoy life to the full. In addition to providing one-to-one support through our Support Workers, we also offer a number of community-based activities to reduce isolation and loneliness as well as personalised services to help individuals achieve their goals, eg digital and employability support. We are looking for caring individuals, with a passion to support and motivate others - experience supporting individuals with disabilities would be an advantage, however this isn't essential and full training will be provided.
This role will be covering the following areas; Melton Mowbray, Syston, Rearsby
A full UK driver's license and use of a car is required for this post due to the nature of the role.
We do request flexible availability, as occasional evening work will be required.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Support individuals to access the local community;
- Support with shopping and appointments;
- Support with correspondence and household tasks including cleaning tasks with clients.

Duties:
-Travel to Melton Mowbray, Syston, Rearsby
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
- Assist with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills
- Support individuals in participating in community activities and social events
- Document and report any changes in behavior or health status of individuals
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of individuals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately
- Full valid UK driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
