Our client is a leader in online travel inspiration and is looking for a Membership and Sales manager on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent administration, sales and networking experience, as this role will oversee every part of customer interaction, spanning from cultivating relationships to driving sales. The customers and clientele that you will be working with are travel businesses, including tour operators, individual hotels and Destination Management Organisations, so a solid understanding of the UK travel market is essential. The role requires a good sales background converting new clients to Membership and ensuring renewals are maximised. Strong writing /editing skills would be ideal, to help contribute to the website.
Skills
- Solid understanding of the travel industry
- Previous experience in a marketing or public relations role within the travel sector
- Ideally previous wor experience in a tour operator
- Skilled in writing, editorial and leveraging social media
- Good sales and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with WordPress and/or image editing is a plus
- Some experience in event management would be ideal
- Strong PC skills – good knowledge of standard office software
- A self starter and able to work independently
- Able to work from home / remotely
