Menswear Designer - TBC London / Manchester

We have a new opportunity for Menswear Designerto join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Reporting to the Menswear Production Manager you will assist with current projects whilst working towards monthly design meetings

· Sending weekly requests to suppliers i.e., fabric and trim

· Taking ownership of organising and maintaining the fabric and trim library

· Attend weekly fit sessions giving input into design details

· Assist the Buying team with any CAD requests needed for style updates

· Assist Garment Technologist with any CADs needed on the back of changes for fit comments

· Preparing monthly release CAD boards for display

· Prepare and distribute accurate reporting to the wider business

· Preparing design and sign-off meeting note packs

· Undertake and compile competitor shop reports and seasonal/monthly trend reports

· Design inspiration research

REQUIREMENTS

· Completed Fashion Design qualification (degree level)

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced fashion environment

· Able to work both independently and as part of a team

· A positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn

· A confident individual with the ability to individually present work to a wider team

· Confident using Adobe Software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

· Willingness and flexibility to adapt ways of working to meet brand requirements and deadlines

· Highly organised with good time management skills
