Ensure the team meets agreed KPIs indicating that the following objectives have been met
Reduce number of 136 detentions and in doing so reduce the impact on all agencies involved, both financially and in terms of time spent from point of detention through to assessment
• Improve the response to those who call the police at time of crisis in relation to their Mental Health
• Reduce A&E presentations/admission
• To design and deliver ways to improve the access to pathways of care for those individuals not reaching the threshold for mainstream services.
• To ensure the team will act according to their roles within the Standard Operating Procedure for the team that they work for
• To ensure the objectives of the teams are met
• To supervise and evaluate the team
• The post holder will assist with the responsibilities for all aspects of the service
• Be responsible for the day to day management of the team ensuring a responsive and effective service is offered
• To organise and carry out Management and clinical supervision for all staff where appropriate.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary Mental Health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent Mental Health services, perinatal Mental Health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
