Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Care Assistants to join our team in Bangor, North Wales. As a Mental Health Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with Mental Health conditions, ensuring their well-being and promoting their recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of care plans under the guidance of healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with Mental Health conditions.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' behaviour or condition.
- Assist with daily activities, including personal care, medication administration, and meal preparation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and progress.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant healthcare setting is essential
- Knowledge of Mental Health conditions and treatment approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centred approach.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Full enhanced DBS
