Some key information:

• You would be primarily working with children first hand as a Mental Health Support Assistant.
• Your role will focus on supporting those with Mental Health needs.
• Some of the children have also been identified or diagnosed as struggling with other additional needs, such as ADHD or ASD.
• This also negatively impacts their academics.
• You will focus on supporting them with their Mental Health and concentrate on helping them access their education in the same way as all their mainstream peers.
• You will lay the best foundation possible to help set them up for success.

To be a successful Mental Health Support Assistant, you will need the following qualities:
