A large, leading Mental Health School in Cardiff and surrounding area are on the hunt for talented Mental Health Support Workers for an immediate start! We have a number of positions available Full and Part Time, which will be for on-going support in the local area.

As a Support Worker you will:

• Support individuals with learning disabilities and Mental Health conditions to lead a good quality of life whilst achieving positive outcomes along the way.
• Assist individuals to learn new skills.
• Understand medication procedures.
• Understand safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Work as part of a team of dedicated, qualified and capable staff team who put the people living here at the heart of what we do.
• Full Free Training provided to all candidates
• 8/10/12 hour shifts available

The Candidate:

What you’ll need to be successful as a Mental Health Support Worker

● A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with Mental Health issues

● Empathetic, caring and resilient nature

● At least 3 months experience of working within a healthcare setting in the UK

● Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one

● The right to work in the UK

Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

Experience:

• Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
