As a Mental Health Support Worker working with Service Care Solutions, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to the residents at Cleveland House, Southport (PR9 8BL).
Cleveland House is a dedicated care facility providing support for adults with a range of complex needs, including physical disabilities resulting from acquired brain injuries (ABI), progressive neurological conditions (PNC), and Mental Health needs associated with conditions such as epilepsy. The facility offers a holistic approach to care, focusing on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where residents can thrive and develop to their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
- Encourage participation in social and leisure activities, promoting social inclusion and community engagement.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and consultants, to ensure holistic care delivery.
- Foster a supportive and empowering environment where residents are actively involved in decision-making regarding their care and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care interventions, progress, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- 6 Months UK experience working in a similar role within a care setting is essential.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues alike.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, as required.
