An exciting opportunity for an experienced MEP Commissioning Manager to work on a highly prestigious gigafactory construction project.

Enabling them to capitalise on these opportunities, they are building a Tata Group Synergies project team to develop our strategic approach to battery supply working across multiple organisations, both inside and outside the group.

Description

Working for the end client you will responsible for Project Managing the Commissioning process of a major gigafactory construction project from initial design phase through to final handover.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commissioning strategies and plans for a major gigafactory project.
  • Oversee the entire commissioning process, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage and lead a team of commissioning engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimise project delays and budget overruns
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to verify the functionality and performance of commissioned systems.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as design and construction, to optimise project outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to commissioning activities, including reports, test results, and technical specifications.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager in large-scale construction projects, with a focus on high-profile developments from initial design phase.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.In-depth knowledge of construction commissioning processes, systems, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools and technologies.
  • Professional certifications in commissioning or project management are highly desirable

Job Offer

  • Salary: £70,000 - 85,000
  • Car Allowance: £6,800
  • Bonus: 12.5%
  • 25 days holiday
  • Pension: 5% matched contribution
