MEP Design Manager

London, hybrid (4 days in the office)

salary: up to £75,000

A well established consultancy globally recognised for their expertise to create the most advanced and impressive building projects is looking for an experienced Design Manager to join their MEP team.

ROLE

The MEP Design Manager will:

-coordinate mechanical and electrical aspects of projects and manage internal and external parties such as subconsultants,

-actively participate in or lead design team meetings to review project progress with the client, team members, external disciplines and contractors,

-be responsible for delivering MEP design while ensuring its quality is line with the company's regulations and standards,

-have knowledge of project phases and will be able to review them,

-show a good understanding of financial aspects of running design projects and ensure they are run in line with budgets and deadlines,

-oversee and assist the design teams involved while being able to provide a technical advice when needed.

EXPERIENCE, QUALITIES, SKILLS

The MEP Design Manager will:

-have experience as a design coordinator/manager on large scale building projects,

-be a chartered engineer or in the process of working towards receiving a chartership, or a degree qualified as a mechanical, electrical or building services engineer,

-have knowledge of engineering disciplines responsible for producing design on building projects,

-have experience working as part of the MEP team with a consultancy or a contractor,

-have an indefinite right to work in the UK.
