MEP Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled MEP Manager to join our team. As a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to high standards. The successful candidate will have a background in construction, with experience in managing MEP projects and proficiency in Civil 3D for design and modelling of MEP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems on construction projects, ensuring they meet project requirements and are completed to a high standard
• Review and interpret design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure MEP systems meet project requirements and are installed correctly
• Monitor project progress to ensure timelines are met and report any issues or delays to the project team
• Conduct quality control checks on MEP installations to ensure they meet company standards
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Plumbing Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the construction industry, with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing projects
• Proficiency in Civil 3D for design and modelling of MEP systems
• Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces (due to the nature of the work)

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of building regulations and standards (e.g. ASME, NEC, ASPE)
• Experience with construction management software (e.g. Procore, PlanGrid)
• LEED AP or other sustainability certifications
