Job Title: Merchandise Analyst - (Forecasting and Replenishment) 

Our commercial team is GROWING! Because of several promotions throughout our commercial team, we're looking to recruit a Merchandising Analyst to join our Central Merchandise team permanently! 

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 plus bonus earning potential (Depending Upon Experience) 

Location: Milton Keynes/Hybrid - 2 days office-based (Tuesdays & Wednesdays), 3 days from home per week*.

*This may be more regularly during some of our busier, peak periods (up to 4 days per week on occasion) but you can expect to work from the office 1 to 2 days per week regularly.

What will you be doing?

(Including but not limited to)

As a Merchandise Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Forecasting & Replenishment Merchandiser in maximizing forecast accuracy within the Forecasting & Replenishment System and ensuring any system defects are resolved to time, quality, and cost.

  • Technical training for the broader merchandising teams
  • Providing first-line support to the category teams for forecasting and replenishment issues, minimizing the need for manual intervention whilst maximising sales and availability
  • Managing escalation of system issues and communicating impacts to the wider commercial teams
  • Understanding the root cause of systemic issues, developing solutions in conjunction with RELEX, and owning the defect log and sprint implementation plan to ensure critical issues are prioritised
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to drive sales, margin, stock and forecast accuracy KPIs through the system
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure system development impacts are understood across all key functions
  • Create and manage robust plans to ensure system testing (UAT, Regression) minimizes disruption during system outages and releases and meets approved spending budgets

What you need to be successful:

  • Previous experience in either a merchandising, Forecasting & Replenishment or demand role
  • Previous experience working with a forecasting and replenishment system is preferred but not essential
  • Logical approach and highly numerate and analytical with good problem-solving ability
  • Highly Proficient in Excel
  • Good communication Skills
  • KPI driven with high attention to detail
