As a Merchandiser within the business, you will be responsible for the optimisation and maintenance of stock levels whilst providing excellent customer service, maximising sales and profitability, and developing strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and other external/internal stakeholders

The are now seeking a Merchandiser to join the Merchandising team.
Description
- Maintaining good product knowledge and utilising all available tools to enable you to hit your KPIs
- Make commercial decisions to maintain the agreed company stockholding and minimise surplus
- You will liaise with Operations Management to ensure procedures and systems that are in place are followed.
- You will work closely with the Senior Merchandiser & Merch team to achieve and implement the Company's objectives across the entire global supply chain.
- Responsive to the demands of the market and customer needs and be highly visible organising, and conducting, regular external face to face account reviews.
- A champion of best practice, you will play a highly visible role, identifying improvement areas, embracing change and helping to ensure communication channels are inclusive and effective at all levels
Profile
* Proven track-record as a Merchandiser with Retail & Online experience and be highly numerate
* Demonstrate accuracy within a high level of detail
* Analysis of data with advanced Excel skills pivot tables, Sumif formulas and Vlookup (role includes report building and data analysis)
* Worked within an Import and Container Utilisation environment with demonstrable experience across the entire supply chain
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to make strategic decisions and have the confidence to back your judgement
* A high degree of personal and departmental organisational skills, be analytical, emotionally intelligent, and able to multi-task with the ability to deliver to critical deadlines and KPIs
* Natural communication skills, a high level of personal authority, be able to fluently express yourself both verbally and in writing and thrive on taking responsibility and being accountable
* Experience of working with IT systems, be highly numerate, have advanced Excel and Tracker skills and will have worked with Warehouse Management, Stock Control and Bespoke systems
