MaidstoneRef: VA1586Benefits Competitive salary plus performance related bonus 29 days holiday including public holidays plus additional days with service Pension contributions GBP1,000 recommend a technician bonus incentive Enhanced maternity, paternity & adoption pay Enhanced sick pay Talk to us about flexible working VIP Awards - colleague recognition scheme Health cash plan - claim back medical costs, same day doctors' appointments, high street discounts Steer Academy provides accredited ongoing training - paid for by the business Opportunities for career progression About the JobAs an experienced ATA MET, you will be responsible for:Carrying out all necessary mechanical and body work on allocated jobsDismantling vehicles ready for the panel shopCarrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic workOrdering replacement partsRe-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident conditionAbout YouYou will have significant experience as an MET from an accident repair background, with high attention to detail and the ability to work skilfully and safely under pressure.You must be able to plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready to agreed timescales, carry out work in accordance with manufacturers specification and work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.You will be flexible in your approach, continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind, and you will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example, wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy.About Us Steer Automotive Group is an award-winning company with over 30 years of knowledge and expertise within the vehicle body repair sector.
