Job Role; Working in the fabrication team of a commercial, heavy plant machinery company. Must have previous proven experience in sheet metal work predominantly in Mild steel. Stainless steel and Aluminum experience and CNC Plasma knowledge would be advantageous. Must be able to read engineering drawings and work under own Initiative. Make sure all work is done to Health Safety Standards, Making sure the customer needs are to a high standard. Skills and Experience

Working with mild and stainless steel, 1.5mm, 2mm, 5mm, sheet, box section and tube
Sheet metal work
TIG/MMA/MIG welding
Use of CNC Plasma, guillotine, fold bar, fly press radial and other machinery
Stainless steel polishing experience beneficial
Housekeeping of the workshop to a planned regime
Management of the upkeep of all tools reporting any faults or shortages to the line Managers.
Working to drawings/sketches/checklists/work instructions
Guillotine: 3 years (preferred)
Fold Bar: 3 years (preferred)
Welding: 3 years (preferred)
CNC Plasma: 2 years (preferred)
