SalarySTS ‘Bespoke Handling Equipment Ltd.’ is looking to hire a Metal Finisher / Machine Packer to work in our factory. The role involves various stainless steel metal finishing tasks and the packaging of finished products ready for dispatch. This role would suit an active person who is looking for some variety.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working in industrial environments and using power tools (i.e drills, grinders, nail guns, etc.). The right candidate must be happy to work hard in a hands-on mechanical environment and be able to listen and learn about work tasks.
Main tasks:
- Carry out stainless steel metal finishing using in-house tools and machinery.
- Package finished machines on wooden pallets including making wooden crates.
- Put together sub-assemblies for use in the production of machines.
Key skills required:
- Ability to listen and learn about new job tasks.
- High attention to detail in the finishing of components.
- Ability to perform consistently and to deadlines with the right attitude.
- Tidy, polite and professional approach to work.
Qualifications required:
- Qualifications in mechanical fields are desirable but not required.
- Job-specific training in Metal Finishing and Packaging will be provided by STS, but previous experience is desirable.
- Driving license required.

The company supplies equipment to a wide range of industries including Paint, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Food. We manufacture in steel and stainless steel with lifting capacities ranging from 20kg to 2000kg.

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
