Full Job Description
Join our metering team, this role is pivotal to conducting metering tasks, including those of a technically complex nature. The primary objective is to meet time, cost, and quality targets, addressing business and customer service requirements, and providing essential technical support to the team.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
MUST HAVE SINGLE PHASE, THREE PHASE AND LVCT
- Install, maintain, remove, and replace various LV metering and communication equipment.
- Test and validate all LV metering equipment, adhering to established procedures.
- Operate the LV system for associated metering activities, ensuring compliance with protocols.
- Perform intricate tests and inspections on installations.
- Conduct remote testing of metering equipment.
- Investigate high consumption complaints, resolving queries with customers.
- Address dangerous occurrences promptly, resolving customer problems.
- Work on nonstandard and other Distribution Business' equipment.
- Coach and mentor colleagues, providing guidance in task completion.
Qualifications and Skills: The successful candidate will be authorized to install single and three-phase metering installations, ideally possessing CT metering experience. Exceptional customer service, adherence to time, cost, and quality targets, proficient IT skills, and a clean driving license are essential.
Requirements:
- Trained, authorized, and experienced in single and three-phase meter installation.
- LVCT metering installation experience, with knowledge of Half Hourly, AMR, and SMETS metering considered advantageous.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home occasionally.
- Proficiency in IEE wiring regulations.
