Delivery Manager role may be perfect for you!
We are seeking a highly motivated team member with a strong passion for data-driven decision making and process improvement. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive reporting and metrics program for our delivery teams. You will work closely with collaborators across the organisation to identify key performance indicators, build dashboards and reports, and leverage data insights to optimise project delivery, resource allocation, and overall operational efficiency. You will also be responsible for creating and delivering insightful reports and presentations that communicate complex data to a variety of audiences.
Responsibilities:
Collect, analyse, and interpret data:
- Oversee the collection of data from various sources, including project management tools, systems, and financial reports.
- Conduct regular data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for customers.
Develop and deliver insightful reports:
- Create tailored reports and dashboards for different audiences, including senior management, project teams, and clients.
- Develop standardised reporting templates and processes to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Choose and configure reporting and data visualisation tools for effective communication of insights.
- Explain data findings and present recommendations in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. Use storytelling techniques to transform data into actionable narratives.
Drive continuous improvement:
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of the reporting and metrics program and find opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with team members to refine critical metrics and reporting processes based on evolving needs.
- Proactively share data insights and recommendations to optimize project delivery and overall performance.
Manage and motivate a team (optional):
- If applicable, lead and mentor a team of reporting analysts or data specialists.
- Cultivate a data-driven culture within the organization by providing training and support.
- Delegate tasks effectively and hold team members accountable for their contributions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing reporting and metrics programs.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualisation tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, project management software, and data analysis tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies preferred.
Additional desired skills:
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
- Strong collaborator management skills.
