Do you have experience in MFL education and looking for a new and exciting opportunity to join a local Secondary school in North Manchester?

We are currently working with a very successful Secondary School, who are on the hunt for their next German MFL Teacher and we would love to hear from you!
 
Smile Education, Northwest is now recruiting for a full-time German Teacher for one of our schools based in Bury.

The role:
  • Preparing German teaching and learning materials.
  • Providing guidance and advice to pupils on education and on their further education and careers.
  • Providing feedback to students and parents, through consultation evenings, phone calls or written communication as appropriate.
  • Contributing to department planning and self-evaluation.
  • Providing professional support to other teachers and support staff.
  • Attending departmental and school meetings, either during or after the school day, as requested.
 
What do you need for the role as a German MFL Teacher?
  • A teaching qualification with QTS and experience teaching MFL across KS3 and KS4 in line with the British Curriculum
  • A valid PGCE/QTS (unqualified German speakers would also be considered if you have a minimum of 3 years MFL teaching experience in the UK)
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you at a cost of £44, which is refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role.)
  • Knowledge of the UK Secondary Curriculum and the subjects.
  • 2 education-based references in the last 24 months.
  • A passion for teaching and languages.
  • A determined, hard-working attitude.
