We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of MI & Analytics Manager.

The role holder sits in the Data, Analytics & CRM team and will support the analysis and insight of Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB)/Private Banking (GPB) product lines and customer base across Channel Islands & Isle of Man (CIIOM).

This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of Private Banking data and is expected to design and develop information management solutions which will help the business drive informed decisions.  

They will also be expected to identify actionable insights that arise from the analysis of customer data and work with other areas within WPB/PB to ensure they are planned into BAU activity where appropriate.

The individual should be proficient in evaluating new technologies and identifying practical business application to develop enhanced business value and increase operating efficiency. 

Alignment to the Global and Regional Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE) structure is also critical for the role. The role holder will be working with the Global and Regional Analytics teams to drive the Group Analytics strategies.

In this role, you will:

•    Contribute to the establishment of consistent, best-in-class Analytics, CRM and Data & Information Management capability
•    Support the go-forward data strategy which will enable Advance Analytics & Machine Learning capabilities
•    Develop effective working relationships with WPB/PB stakeholders to scope and define their analytics requirements and create efficient analytical solutions for their needs
•    Lead timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports/business risk reports/group reports
•    Gather business requirements, code, test, debug, create documentation, and implement solutions
•    Translate loosely defined business problems into meaningful objectives so a programming/business intelligence solution can be developed

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Background working in Analytics, CRM ,Management Information (MI) reporting essential in a banking environment preferred 
•    Experience of using relevant systems e.g. SAS, R, SQL, Qlik, Advanced Excel, Google Analytics
•    Strong analytical, planning, organizational and time management skills.
•    Strong spoken and written communication skills with experience of sharing information effectively, in a clear, concise and professional manner 
•    The ability to understand and interpret straightforward financial data
