This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home. This new full–time post is available /immediately on a fixed-term basis until the 31st of January 2025. Summary of the roleWe are looking for a Microsoft 365 administrator to join our Business Operations team in the Research Division. The role: You will provide Microsoft 365 development, support and advice to the Research Division. Implement a broad variety of technical, operational and problem-solving activities for Microsoft 365 applications and services, and provide professional advice about your area of expertise to academic and professional services staff. You will be delivering secure SharePoint resources for institutional benefit and ensuring best practices are adhered to across the Research Division Microsoft 365 collaboration platform. You will: Have experience in supporting and developing solutions within Microsoft 365. Have an understanding of working with business workflows. Understanding of best practice principles within IT administration, testing and Information Governance. Be passionate about Microsoft 365 and the benefits of using the toolset. Be keen to continually develop and learn new skills as required by the role Be flexible, adaptive, and proactive in your approach to seek continuous improvement of our services and technologies. Have strong communication skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships.
