Job description

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic strategist to join our growing team at Construct. Working within the Strategy team and closely with the design studio, this person will support the creation of exceptional strategic creative solutions on our diverse selection of projects across the luxury sector. Construct is a collective of strategic creative thinkers, experts in brand strategy, creation, and communication. We work across a diverse range of projects, always with a focus on exceptional quality. We work with some of the world’s most prestigious brands and for an almost-exclusive HNW and UHNW luxury audience.

The right candidate will be an articulate and engaging communicator with a strong awareness of the luxury industry and its clients; a strong collaborator with internal teams, a naturally curious researcher and strategic thinker able to make observations, draw conclusions and present insights in a meaningful way that is easily understood by our clients and reflects the high standards of quality and craft innate to all our projects.

We have two studios, in Somerset House in London and Circus Mews in Bath. Teams are based in both locations and there is flexibility to work between the two studios as required.

We are a founder-led studio, sharing responsibility and actively creating opportunities for growth within the business.

Our approach is collaborative, and we regularly partner with other creators and makers across our projects.

We are now part of the Together Group, the world’s first luxury lifestyle agency group. We are joined by best-in-class global agencies across design, tech, marketing, and communications – together creating, transforming, and growing exceptional brands across the luxury sector.

As a member of the Strategy team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic support across all strategy projects and pitches.
  • Collaborating with the wider design and accounts team to deliver projects including but not limited to brand audits, brand positioning, brand architecture, naming, communications, and social media strategy etc.
  • Developing and managing research projects to guide long term thinking, such as competitors, audience and trend analysis of the luxury sector and the external factors informing it.
  • Identifying robust evidence, both research, data, and analysis to support brand strategy.
  • Translating strategic rationale into clear and inspiring copy for brand presentations.
  • Presenting work to key client stakeholders
  • Being ahead of news at the intersection of fashion, beauty, hospitality, content, and tech in order to advise clients on new opportunities and emerging strategies.
  • Keeping up to speed with client competitors and current events relevant to the digital and luxury landscape.
  • Supporting the creation and structure of presentations for clients, and briefs to the design studio.
  • Supporting the growth and development of Construct’s in-house communications.
  • Involvement in ad hoc initiatives, providing support according to business and needs and supporting other team members as required.

Required skills & experience

  • 4-5+ years’ experience (midweight) / 7+ years’ experience (senior) working on strategically led creative projects within the broader luxury sector, agency or in-house experience both valid.
  • Awareness and understanding of the luxury market, consumer, regional and global trends, and the factors that affect and advise our clients and their brands.
  • Excellent researcher, able to deliver considered competitor research, audience analysis and reflect on key insights and observations to support creative development and client understanding.
  • Experience developing unique brand positioning and brand architecture (preferable)
  • Strong copywriting and presentation skills
  • Excellent cultural references and understanding of a HNW and UHNW audience, as well as hospitality, fashion, and arts + culture sectors.
  • A team player with ability to build trusting relationships with client and internal teams.
  • An articulate and engaging communicator – confident to present both internally and externally.
  • Confident with structuring presentations to support design team efficiencies.

Remuneration + Benefits

  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Option to work from home on Fridays + 3pm finishes on Fridays
  • 25 days annual leave
  • Company pension
  • We also encourage growth and support our team in their development, through workshops, training, and cultural and social events.
