Milk Roundsperson

As a result of continued expansion, Cotteswold Dairy are looking for a motivated, reliable milk delivery roundsperson to join the team on a new Milk Round at our busy Hereford Depot. The successful applicant will have a clean manual UK driving licence, with a passion to learn and develop; deliver milk to our residential customers and enjoy building solid customer relations

The Milk Delivery Roundsperson Role

As a representative of Cotteswold Dairy, quality and customer service will be at the heart of this position. You must be reliable, confident, and able to communicate effectively while being a team player. You will deliver excellent customer service and be able to work flexibly. Due to the external nature of this role, working days may vary during periods of inclement weather

Key duties of this role include:

• The delivery of dairy and dairy related products to residential customers
• The operation of electronic handheld units for ordering and invoicing
• The loading and unloading of Company vehicles

Milk Delivery Roundsperson Working Hours

Full time, permanent, 40 hours per week, job & finish, over four nights. Night-time hours through to early morning as required. You will be required to work an additional day per week on up to 4 occasions per year

In order to comply with the Working Time Directive, this will be averaged out over a period of 26 weeks

Start times vary based on the finish time of individual rounds, however we expect this round to commence around 2245

This is an example only a degree of flexibility is required, and days/start time may flex depending on the round

IMPORTANT - This physically active role involves working nights and early mornings, and requires manual handling

You will have a positive attitude, and have a keen eye for detail; be reliably able to commute to work at the shift times indicated, and be flexible to work the full shift pattern including Bank Holidays

Commission payments, gallonage payments and driving bonuses are paid on top of the salaried rate and are subject to terms and conditions. These can be discussed with the line manager at interview
